The fact that UTEC is an independent entity, not directly affiliated with any commercial explosive manufacturer allows UTEC to market its capabilities to all interested parties.

UTEC specializes in energetic materials and explosives contract research projects. We have the ability to take a project from blackboard, idea generation, to laboratory bench scale concept research through to pilot scale development and beyond.

Over the years UTEC has contracted and worked with over 150 specific and different customers in varying degrees, from initial proof-of-concept research to full scale product manufacturing development.
